Un-treated brass will tarnish and pick up the natural oils of your hands. We love the natural patina of this beautiful mixed metal - but if you'd like to keep it crazy-shiny, we suggest you use "Barkeepers Friend" (spray version) and a soft cloth to gently remove any tarnish or stains; rinse and wash with oil cutting liquid detergent, then buff with a soft, dry cloth.
